EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern fell to Minnesota 171-129 in a dual meet Saturday at the Norris Aquatics Center.

Sophomore Katie Paglini posted first-place finishes in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke as well as the 200 individual medley with times of 57.89, 2:02.35 and 2:05.48, respectively.

For the second straight meet, junior Christy Olin was a multiple-event winner. She claimed first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.00 and the 200 fly with a 2:01.49 finish.

Freshman diver Leanne Dumais claimed a first-place finish in the 3-meter event for the second consecutive meet with a score of 308.33.

Northwestern swimmers finished first and second in the 200 breaststroke as senior Katie Simmons won the event with a 2:20.31 mark, while Brielle Bovee finished behind her at 2:20.70.

NU swimmers took the top three places in the 1000 freestyle as Vicky West finished first, Erica Rose in second, and Amy Mueller finished third.

The Wildcats will be back in action on Nov. 21 when they host the TYR NU Invitational. The meet will conclude on the 23rd.
